Condolences to Angers, football can be a cruel sport.

Courtesy of Issa Cissokho's own goal seconds before the final whistle, Paris Saint-Germain won a record 11th Coupe de France title Saturday by virtue of a 1-0 victory at the Stade de France.

Moments after the clock struck 90, Cissokho headed an Angel Di Maria corner into his own net under pressure from Blaise Matuidi as Les Scoistes squad dropped their heads in unison as misfortune struck in the most cold-blooded fashion imaginable.

Tough break for Stephane Moulin's side, especially after making a good account of themselves against heavy favourites PSG, notably in the opening stanza.

Runner-up to Monaco in Ligue 1, PSG has now won the Coupe de France three years on the bounce to stand alone atop the all-time standings, with Marseille second on 10.

With the result, Bordeaux officially qualifies for the Europa League, and PSG full-back Maxwell becomes the player with the most trophies (37), surpassing Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs in his final match with the capital club.
