C.J. Bryce may be switching schools, but he won't be playing for a new head coach.

Bryce, UNC Wilmington's leading scorer last year, told Jeff Goodman of ESPN he'll be transferring to NC State. Wolfpack head coach Kevin Keatts joined the program this offseason after spending three seasons at UNC Wilmington.

As a sophomore last season, Bryce averaged 17.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and three assists, while helping the Seahawks to their second straight NCAA tournament appearance.

Keatts will surely be excited for the addition as he attempts to rebuild a Wolfpack program that was dreadful in conference play a season ago, losing 10 of its final 11 games. NC State also lost star guard Dennis Smith Jr. to the NBA draft.

However, Bryce won't debut for the Wolfpack until 2018-19 due to NCAA transfer rules.

Keatts wasn't done there, as he also secured another transfer Saturday. Former Utah guard Devon Daniels announced he'll be heading to the Wolfpack.

Daniels averaged nearly 10 points per game as a freshman for the Utes.
