Germaine de Randamie's manager, Brian Butler, released a statement Friday saying that his client will not fight Cris Cyborg.

De Randamie currently holds the UFC women's featherweight title but refuses to defend it against Cyborg, based on the belief that her potential opponent is cheating.

"Germaine and her team have talked, and the position is that she will not fight Cyborg because Cyborg is a known and proven cheater," Butler said in a statement obtained by MMAJunkie.com. "Even after so much scrutiny has been put on Cyborg, she still managed to pop for something and will always be a person of suspicion who is trying to beat the system rather than just conforming to the rules."

De Randamie's opposition to fighting Cyborg is so strong that she would be willing to have the UFC revoke her belt.

"Germaine and her team don’t believe that Cyborg should be allowed to compete in the UFC at all," Butler said. "If that is the only fight the UFC wants, then Germaine is willing to wait and see if the UFC will strip her belt before making her next move."

Cyborg took to Twitter on Friday, alleging that De Randamie is making excuses.

De Randamie won the inaugural featherweight title against Holly Holm at UFC 208.
