Former Rutgers quarterback Chris Laviano has found a new home, as San Diego State announced Thursday that the graduate transfer will play for the Aztecs next season.
Laviano played in 25 games for the Scarlet Knights throughout his three-year career, with his best showing coming in his sophomore season in 2015. He started 11 games and threw for 2,247 yards and 16 touchdowns.
San Diego State fielded one of the worst passing attacks in 2016, averaging just 144.5 yards per game, and Laviano will likely have a shot at the starting job heading into summer camp.
