Here is a look at the Squad Up daily MLB fantasy picture for the 10-game slate beginning at 7:05 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 24:

Hitter Stacks

  • New York Yankees vs. Kansas City Royals (RHP Jason Hammel): Hammel has posed significant reverse splits to this point of the season. He has allowed 84 right-handed hitters to post a slash line of .382/.440/.613 and a wOBA of .443. The Yankees rank second in MLB with a team wOBA of .352 against right-handed pitching. Hammel allowed two homers in each of his previous two starts.

3-player stack: C Gary Sanchez (63K), 2B Starlin Castro (50K), OF Aaron Judge (66K)

  • Tampa Bay Rays vs. Los Angeles Angels (RHP Ricky Nolasco): Nolasco has allowed 13 home runs through 51 2/3 innings, good for a HR/9 of 2.26. He is walking just 2.44 batters per nine innings, but the Rays rank in the top half of the league in walk rate and eighth in team wOBA vs. righties. Nolasco has allowed 108 righty batters to post a slugging percentage of .588.
3-player stack: OF Corey Dickerson (57K), 3B Evan Longoria (55K), SS Tim Beckham (41K)

Pitcher Breakdown

  • TARGET - RHP Luis Severino (63K), Yankees (vs. Royals): Severino's 3.64 ERA continues to be higher than his pristine 2.87 ERA. He's riding the wave of a 10.34 K/9 and a 2.49 BB/9. The Royals rank 27th in team wOBA vs. RHPs, walking in just 6.8 percent of plate appearances. Severino holds lefty hitters to a .198/.253/.357 slash line.
  • BARGAIN - RHP Trevor Williams (45K), Pirates (at Braves): Williams gave up six earned runs in his first start of the season, but he has allowed just a total of four over 10 2/3 innings in his following two starts. He's striking out just 5.68 per nine while walking 3.91, but the Braves remain without lefty 1B Freddie Freeman, causing their 17th-ranked wOBA to slide.
  • FADE - LHP Rich Hill (105K), Dodgers (vs. Cardinals): Hill is the second-most expensive pitcher on the slate, despite not having pitched out of the fifth inning this season. While he strikes out 9.00 hitters per nine, his inability to pitch deep into games caps his strikeout upside. He is unable to return value at this price even if he limits earned runs.
  • CONTRARIAN - RHP Julio Teheran (74K), Braves (vs. Pirates): Teheran's season has been disastrous, as he has allowed four or more earned runs in four of his nine starts. He has a K/9 of just 6.57 with a BB/9 of 4.20. The depleted Pirates lineup ranks just 28th in wOBA and 29th in slugging percentage against righties.

Bargain Plays

  • OF Albert Almora Jr. (40K), Cubs (vs. Giants): Almora is typically buried at the bottom of the lineup in either the eighth or ninth spot, but he hit second, Monday. Should he return to the top of the lineup for Wednesday's game, he can be included in the above Cubs stack due to his .387/.472/.645 slash line against lefties. Use him on his own if at the bottom of the lineup.
  • DH Victor Martinez (44K), Tigers (at Astros): Martinez has just two home runs in 112 at-bats against right-handed pitchers this season, but he has drawn 13 walks to 17 strikeouts and has a OBP of .346. Martinez is a switch-hitter, but he may be better off sticking on the right side of the plate against Astros RHP Charlie Morton, who has allowed righty batters to post a .375 wOBA.
  • SS Andrelton Simmons (42K), Angels (at Rays): Rays RHP Erasmo Ramirez has held 71 right-handed batters to a .200/.214/.333 slash line, striking out 15 and walking just one. Simmons, however, owns a .292/.349/.423 slash line against righty pitching. He has walked in 7.9 percent of PAs and struck out in just 9.9 percent.

  • OF Mookie Betts (69K), Red Sox (vs. Rangers): Betts is hitting just .217 with one walk, one strikeout and one home run in 24 PAs against left-handed pitching. Rangers LHP Martin Perez has held 184 right-handed batters to a .317 wOBA and striking out 27. Betts has just one extra-base hit in the past week.
  • 3B Mike Moustakas (55K), Royals (at Yankees): The aforementioned prowess of Severino against left-handed hitters should limit appeal to Moustakas. If it's not enough, fade his 4.2 percent walk rate and 17.9 percent strikeout rate, which align perfectly with Severino's strengths. He is slashing .274/.320/.521 against righties for the season, but he hasn't scored more than one run in a game since April 25.
  • 2B DJ LeMahieu (52K), Rockies (at Phillies): LeMahieu racked up eight hits over four games prior to Wednesday's 0-for-4 performance. His strikeout rate remains tempered at just 13.2 percent, but fewer hard-hit balls and more ground balls have him hitting just .246 versus right-handed pitching, a drop of more than 100 points from last year.

  • OF George Springer (67K), Astros (vs. Tigers): Springer is in an 0-for-10 slump with three walks and four Ks. He has remained as the lead-off hitter, allowing him to still score a run. Tigers LHP Daniel Norris has issued 16 walks to 158 right-handed batters, allowing them to combine for a .380 OBP. Norris has a 4.81 ERA and a 4.74 xFIP on the season. Fantasy owners can lean on Springer's teammates hitting behind him.
  • 1B Wil Myers (58K), Padres (at Mets): Myers is 0-for-his-last-16, scoring just one run. He has drawn just three walks against nine strikeouts. Mets RHP Robert Gsellman has allowed 110 right-handed batters to post a .353/.400/.600 slash line with a .419 slash line. He has issued seven walks while striking out just 12.
  • 2B Adam Frazier (48K), Pirates (at Braves): Frazier has led off in each of his past 12 starts. He has scored seven runs with eight RBIs. His slugging percentage is just .456 for the season, but a .426 OBP allows him to return value with his teammates doing most of the work.
