Georgia retains Yante Maten as he withdraws from NBA draft

Yante Maten doesn't feel he's quite done playing for Georgia just yet.

After testing the NBA draft waters, the 6-foot-8 forward felt it was best to hold off for one more year, announcing Tuesday that he will return to the Bulldogs for his senior season.

"I've had a very good experience working out with teams, and it has helped my development out tremendously," Maten said via Instagram. "But I've talked it over with my family and decided to return to the University of Georgia for my senior year."

Maten averaged 18.2 points to go along with 6.8 rebounds last year before declaring for the NBA draft on April 13 without an agent.
