Here is a look at the Squad Up daily MLB fantasy picture for the three-game slate beginning at 9:40 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 23:

Hitter Stacks

  • Chicago White Sox at Arizona Diamondbacks (LHP Patrick Corbin): Corbin had a great start to the season, but has surrendered 16 earned runs in his past 16 innings over three starts. The worst of the three starts came at Coors Field in Colorado, but his more recent two came at home in Arizona. The White Sox have the eighth-ranked team wOBA and second-lowest strikeout rate against lefties.
3-player stack: 1B Jose Abreu (55K), OF Avisail Garcia (48K), SS Tim Anderson (46K)
  • Los Angeles Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals (RHP Lance Lynn): The Dodgers rank third in team wOBA, 18th in strikeout rate and third in walk rate against right-handed pitching. Lynn has allowed 89 left-handed hitters to slash .290/.393/.566 and post a collective .408 wOBA. He has walked 12 right-handed hitters and struck out 13 while giving up six home runs.
3-player stack: SS Corey Seager (62K), OF Cody Bellinger (42K), 1B Adrian Gonzalez (53K)

Pitcher Breakdown

  • TARGET - RHP Jose Urena (44K), Marlins (at Athletics): Urena's low 4.64 K/9 could see a boost against an Athletics team striking out in 23.4 percent of plate appearances against right-handed pitchers. Their team wOBA ranks 16th at .321. Urena pitched into the sixth inning in each of his past three starts, allowing a total of just three earned runs.
  • FADE - RHP Lance Lynn (72K), Cardinals (at Dodgers): As noted above, the Dodgers have the best team offense of Tuesday's late slate. Lynn is less than half the cost of opposing LHP Clayton Kershaw, but the matchup will pose further hindrance to Lynn's potential for the victory, even if he is able to limit the Cardinals' offensive output.

Bargain Plays

  • 2B Dee Gordon (42K), Marlins (at Athletics): Gordon characteristically has just eight extra-base hits on the season, but six of those have come against right-handed pitchers. He is hittiner .274/.333/.339 in the strong side of his split. The Athletics have allowed a league-high 39 stolen bases and caught just 13 of the 52 attempted thefts.
  • OF Gregor Blanco (47K), Diamondbacks (vs. White Sox): Blanco led off in each of his past four starts for Arizona. Should he be in Tuesday's lineup, it'll be his first time all season making three consecutive starts. He is hitting .286/.375/.286 against right-handed pitching. The lack of power (he hasn't had an extra-base hit all year) is offset by a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts.

Top Fades

  • OF Giancarlo Stanton (62K), Marlins (at Athletics): Stanton has 11 homers on the season, but he has just six of those in 135 at-bats against right-handed pitchers. He has 15 walks to 39 strikeouts in the split, but Athletics RHP Jesse Hahn has struck out 23 of 111 right-handed batters and issued just six walks. He has yet to allow a home run to a righty.
  • 3B Ryon Healy (49K), Athletics (vs. Marlins): Healy has hit four of his seven home runs against right-handed pitchers, but he is slashing just .208/.246/.342 against righties for the year. The power has been there, but it's difficult to rely on at an upper-tier salary.

Contrarian Plays

  • 3B Trevor Plouffe (46K), Athletics (vs. Marlins): Plouffe is hitting just .215 against RHPs this season but all of his six home runs have come in the weaker side of his split. He strikes out at the same rate against both righties and lefties, but Urena has struck out just eight of 76 right-handed batters faced with four walks allowed. Righties own a .580 slugging percentage.
  • OF Marcell Ozuna (50K), Marlins (at Athletics): Hitters who rely on the long ball for fantasy value are typically faded due to the home run suppression of Oakland's home park. Ozuna has 11 homers through just 182 plate appearances this season, but he comes much cheaper than Stanton. Ozuna's hard-hit percentage ranks 15th in baseball, allowing him to overcome the park factors.
