One member of the Porter family clearly wasn't enough for Missouri head coach Cuonzo Martin, as 2018 four-star center Jontay Porter announced his commitment to the Tigers on Monday.

The announcement does not come as a surprise, as Porter's older brother and No. 1 recruit in the nation, Michael Porter Jr., committed to the Tigers in March after being granted his release from Washington.

Rumours have swirled that Porter will reclassify and join his brother on the court next season, but the newly committed Tiger told David Matter of The St.Louis Post-Dispatch that while the decision may come soon, he still has some considering to do.

"It could be tomorrow. It could be next week," Porter said. "It could be after the Peach Jam (in July). I’ll be sure to let (the media) know."

"I know what my decision could be but I don’t want to tell anyone yet," Porter added, "because I want to pray about it and talk to my family about it and make sure it’s the right decision for me before letting anyone else know."

The younger Porter had also committed to the Huskies in 2015, but reopened his recruitment after Washington fired then-head coach Lorenzo Romar. The father of both recruits, Michael Porter Sr., was hired by the Tigers as an assistant coach just a day after his elder son announced his commitment.
