With his team off to a dreadful start, mired in last place in the National League East, Miami Marlins star Giancarlo Stanton said Thursday he's never been more frustrated in his career.
The proceedings late in Friday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Chavez Ravine probably didn't help assuage his frustration.
Up seven runs in the ninth inning, not long after his teammate, Brett Eibner was hit by a pitch, Dodgers reliever Ross Stripling threw a 94-mph pitch behind Stanton, sparking a benches-clearing incident that led to ejections for Stripling, Dodgers bench coach Bob Geren, and Marlins manager Don Mattingly.
