Kevin Ferguson Jr. will never forget his first win as an MMA professional.
Also known as "Kimbo Slice Jr.," the son of the legendary street fighter-turned MMA superstar of the same name, Ferguson opened up the Bellator 179 main card in London with a vicious first-round TKO of DJ Griffin.
Ferguson got Griffin against the fence and battered him with knees and hammer fists until the referee jumped in for the save 3:40 into the bout.
Afterward, "Baby Slice" threw his mouth piece into the crowd and dedicated the fight to his father. Slice Sr. died last June at the age of 42, a month before he was scheduled to fight James Thompson in London.
Almost one year later, his son picked up right where he left off.
