Jose Mourinho will have the luxury of selecting Paul Pogba when Manchester United takes on Crystal Palace in the final match of the season.

Pogba has been absent from the team for the last two matches while he mourned the death of his father, but Mourinho confirmed Friday that the midfielder will feature at some point during Sunday's match at Old Trafford, according to Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports.

Mourinho explained that Pogba's likely participation Sunday is essential for the French international as United gears up for the Europa League final against Ajax on May 24.

"Paul is fine - strong guy, strong mentality," Mourinho told reporters. "He's learning how to live after his father passed away, but he is strong.

"He knows that he needs to play on Sunday because he doesn't play or train for a long time and he needs these minutes on the pitch."

He added that youngsters Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Axel Tuanzebe, Dimitri Mitchell, Scott McTominay, Josh Harrop, Matthew Willock, Angel Gomes, and Zachary Dearnley, as well as goalkeepers Joel Castro and Kieran O'Hara, will be available to play as well.

Meanwhile, Chris Smalling and Marouane Fellaini are doubtful for Sunday's contest, but are expected to be available for the final next week.
