San Antonio Spurs fans continue to wait with bated breath on the status of their All-Star small forward.
Kawhi Leonard did not participate in Thursday's practice, and remains questionable for Saturday's Game 3 at the AT&T Center, according to ESPN's Michael C. Wright.
Leonard has been out of San Antonio's lineup since re-injuring his left ankle in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals after landing on the foot of Warriors center Zaza Pachulia.
The 25-year-old is averaging 27.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.7 steals on 52.5 percent shooting this postseason.
Should Leonard fail to see the court, Jonathon Simmons could once again draw the start for San Antonio. Simmons is coming off a 22-point performance in Game 2.
