Nate Diaz isn't letting anyone forget he's gotten the better of Conor McGregor.

Moments after McGregor's long-awaited boxing match opposite Floyd Mayweather was made official on Wednesday, the Stockton, Calif. scrapper took to Instagram to belittle the bout as a fight for "that No. 2 spot," providing photographic evidence of the victory he scored over the Irishman at UFC 196:

It's gonna be a good fight for that #2 spot. 💯

Diaz remains the only man to have beaten McGregor in the UFC, and hasn't set foot in the cage since he dropped their August rematch by majority decision. Given his lucrative and enthralling rivalry with the Irishman, his opinion of the newly booked blockbuster is of little surprise. But despite his stance, odds are Diaz - an avid boxing fan who's trained with Andre Ward - will be watching McGregor and Mayweather square off on Aug. 26 in Las Vegas like the rest of us, if only for a potential laugh at his nemesis' expense.
