Cody Garbrandt is one step closer to his first UFC bantamweight title defense.

"No Love" recently flew to Germany for his second back treatment in less than three months, and can be seen undergoing stem cell therapy in a video that hit the Twitterverse Monday morning.

The injury kept Garbrandt from attending last week's "UFC Summer Kickoff" press conference in Dallas, where he and challenger-in-waiting T.J. Dillashaw were expected to promote their grudge match. The bout, scheduled for July 8 at UFC 213, is the last event of the promotion's annual International Fight Week.

News of the champ's bum back had many questioning whether the fight was in jeopardy, although UFC president Dana White swore by the German facility and maintained Garbrandt would make the date when addressing the media last Friday.

Dillashaw wasn't convinced, suspecting his former teammate was trying to back out of the matchup before calling for a fight with reigning flyweight king Demetrious Johnson, who's since dismissed the challenge, according to MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani.

The video above should put Dillashaw's hunch to bed.
