Watch: No time wasted as demolition begins at White Hart Lane

Barely 24 hours after White Hart Lane hosted its final Premier League match, demolition crews began to strip Tottenham's home for 118 years.

Spurs bade farewell to the north London ground with a 2-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday, which prompted a field invasion and post-match celebrations.

But no amount of sentiment prevented construction men from doing their job, as they dug up the pitch and removed seats from the stands.

A new 61,000-seat stadium, expected to be open in time for the 2018-19 campaign, will reside on the same site as White Hart Lane.
