LaVar will keep talking about Lonzo being a Laker 'until it happens'
Lonzo Ball is destined to become a Los Angeles Laker, according to his father.
"Oh, he's going to be a Laker," LaVar Ball told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne. "I'm going to keep talking about it until it happens."
Whether or not LaVar speaking things "into existence" actually works, L.A. picking his son is a definite possibility.
The former UCLA standout is projected to be a top-three pick in the 2017 NBA Draft next month. He's said he'd rather join the purple and gold than go No. 1 overall, and expressed interest in learning from former Lakers superstar and current team president Magic Johnson.

The Lakers have the third-best chance of landing the top selection in Tuesday's NBA draft lottery. They're reportedly "enamored" with Ball and indicated that his outspoken father's meddling won't affect their desire to pick the 6-foot-6 guard.
