Iguodala to undergo MRI on left knee, could miss Game 2
Kawhi Leonard wasn't the only player injured during Game 1 of the Western Conference finals Sunday afternoon.
Golden State Warriors veteran Andre Iguodala experienced discomfort in his left knee, playing a touch over 10 minutes in a comeback 113-111 victory over the San Antonio Spurs at Oracle Arena.
He told reporters afterward that he'll be undergoing an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the damage, according to the Mercury News' Marcus Thompson, with his status for Game 2 unclear for Tuesday.
Iguodala attempted a single shot, finishing with two points, an assist, steal, and turnover. He was pulled at the 8:19 mark of the second quarter, and didn't see the floor in the second half.
"He looked just a little hobbled out there" coach Mike Brown said of Iguodala.
Having gone through knee injuries in the past, Iguodala mentioned that what he's currently dealing with might be more than your run-of-the-mill soreness, and that his MRI will paint a clearer picture.
He was averaging 7.6 points on 41.1 percent shooting, five boards, and 3.6 dimes in 28.4 minutes coming off the bench these playoffs prior to Sunday's Game 1.
