Watch: Trump questions Liberty's decision to schedule Auburn in '18

Joe Camporeale / USA TODAY Sports

Even Donald Trump knows facing Auburn on the gridiron probably won't end well for Liberty in a couple of years.

Liberty invited the president of the United States to give a commencement speech Saturday, and as part of the festivities, Trump read off the school's list of 2018 football opponents. After residing in the FCS for most of the last three decades, the Flames are set to become an FBS independent in 2018.

"Auburn?!" the president exclaimed as he went through the list with university president Jerry Falwell looking on. "Jerry, are you sure you know what you're doing? Jerry, Auburn? I don't know about that. This could be trouble, Jerry."

Trouble it may be, or as some would say, "huuuuge" trouble. The Flames will play at Auburn on Nov. 17, 2018.
