Who's still here? Meet the 22.4 PPG worth of players returning to Duke

Jeremy Brevard / USA TODAY Sports

Nine players have waived goodbye to Duke this offseason, and gone with them are the 58.4 points per game they combined to score on average.

Jayson Tatum, Harry Giles, and Luke Kennard were joined in the 2017 NBA Draft by Frank Jackson on Friday, while Amile Jefferson, Matt Jones, and Nick Pagliuca graduated, and Chase Jeter and Sean Obi transferred out.

It's time to meet the 22.4 points per contest represented by the Blue Devils returning to Durham for next season - approximately two-thirds of which belong to one player:

Grayson Allen (14.5 PPG)

Allen is coming off a tumultuous season complicated by injuries, controversies, and inconsistencies. His numbers were down across the board last year, and he's set to be the sole member of Duke's senior class next year.

Marques Bolden (1.5 PPG)

Bolden was one of the stars in Duke's loaded 2016 recruiting class, but he fizzled as a freshman. After falling out of the rotation in the second half of the campaign, Bolden reportedly considered transferring, but ultimately opted to come back for another kick at the can.

Javin DeLaurier (1.6 PPG)

A forgotten man in the aforementioned freshmen class, former top-50 prospect DeLaurier played sparingly in 2016-17, despite his size and Duke's glaring weakness up front. The 6-foot-10 forward played 10 minutes in total over the final 26 games of the season.

Antonio Vrankovic (2.5 PPG)

The 7-foot center was a three-star recruit in the 2015 class, and has spent most of his first two seasons riding pine. Vrankovic is still looking for the first double-digit scoring outing of his career.

Jack White (2.1 PPG)

White, an Aussie import, didn't get much attention as a recruit and barely played last year as a newcomer. The 6-foot-7 wing is unlikely to be much of a contributor next year, as Duke figures to fill his positional spot with freshmen.

Justin Robinson (0.2 PPG)

The son of San Antonio Spurs legend David Robinson, 6-foot-8 Justin has registered just one career point in two years on campus. He redshirted his first campaign, but never played more than five minutes in a single contest last season.

Brennan Besser (0.0 PPG)

The good news is that Besser has plenty of experience in the program, but the bad news is that he's never scored a point with two seasons in the books.
