In case you don't know, Marlins Man - real name Laurence Levy - is something of a celebrity fan.

For the second time this season, he brought a group of women to the ballpark with him Wednesday for Miami's series finale against the St. Louis Cardinals. Things got out of hand when one tried to distract Cardinals reliever Brett Cecil before he threw a pitch to Christian Yelich.

Levy had temporarily left his seat, but apparently, the Marlins didn't approve. The team contacted him directly about the incident, he told Jaclyn Hendricks of the New York Post.

"I didn’t know what happened," Levy said. "When I came back, people were like, 'Did you hear what happened?' Then the Marlins sent me a text message, 'You need to keep (your) girls under control, they cannot be flashing on TV, it's not appropriate. Bringing them is one thing to have fun, but the actions aren’t good for the image and we can't condone it.'"

In the end, the tactic failed to impact the outcome as Cecil successfully struck Yelich out.
