UNLV suspended Dwayne Morgan from all basketball activities indefinitely Wednesday after the forward was allegedly involved in an altercation with a cab driver.
The incident reportedly took place Saturday, according to Kevin Bolinger of FOX5. In a statement obtained by Rob Dauster of NBC Sports, the school said it's aware of the situation and is in the process of gathering facts.
Morgan, a junior, was limited to eight games last season due to injury. He averaged 9.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest.
The Runnin' Rebels posted an 11-21 record last year, their first campaign under head coach Marvin Menzies.
