Bryant credits hot streak to Disney's 'Moana' soundtrack

Reigning National League MVP Kris Bryant: Good at baseball, doesn't approve of bat flips, loves Disney movies.

Who doesn't, though?

After hitting a modest .212/.328/.404 throughout the first 12 games of the year, Bryant has bounced back in a big way, combining to .388/.475/.687 with four home runs since.

Apparently, he has Disney's 2016 hit film "Moana" and its soundtrack to thank.

"It was on the plane on a road trip" Bryant said, according to ESPN's Jesse Rogers. "I like Disney movies, so I watched it. It was good. The music was good. There's something about Disney movies that make you feel good, you know?"

The 25-year-old admitted that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who stars in the animated feature, is his favorite actor. He loves the movie so much that he listens to its soundtrack before every Chicago Cubs game as part of his preparation.

"People look at me and they're like, 'He's got that calm demeanor,' but I actually need to calm myself down," he said.

"I don't know how they do it, how they're so successful with it, but they do everything perfect," Bryant said of Disney. "Their movies are never flops."

You're not wrong, Kris.
