LaVar: If you can't afford Lonzo's $495 shoe, you're not a Big Baller

Richard Mackson / USA TODAY Sports

It turns out the $495 ZO2 Prime sneaker, unveiled Thursday as Lonzo Ball's first signature shoe, is intended exclusively for ballers very large in stature.

After the Internet all but exploded at the thought of a shoe costing nearly $500, Lonzo's father LaVar - and the mastermind behind Big Baller Brand - clarified that his son's first shoe is only meant to be worn by those from certain demographics:

Former NFL stars Chad Johnson and Arian Foster are among those who have already announced they're dropping the necessary funds to purchase the ZO2 Prime kicks and become certified Big Ballers.

If the shoes are too rich for your pockets, well, firstly, you're not a Big Baller, and secondly, you can settle for the $220 flip flops called ZO2 Slide.
