Romero says he's moving on from Bisping, looking for next opponent
Yoel Romero wants to be a UFC champion, whether it comes at Michael Bisping's expense or not.
Following further waffling from the middleweight titleholder in regards to when he'll next be able to defend his title, Romero issued a tweet Thursday in which he appeared to state he's moving on from Bisping:
The page on @bisping has been turned. My focus now is on who's next? I will be your champion @ufc I will be your #soldier #ynuevo @dioxyme

Romero has been chasing Bisping for months. The 40-year-old Cuban wrestler is 8-0 in the UFC, with his last four wins coming against top-10 contenders Chris Weidman, Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza, Lyoto Machida, and Tim Kennedy.
Considering his dominance and the talent at the top of the 185-pound division, there have been talks of creating an interim title should Bisping need more time to recover from a knee injury. Anderson Silva proposed an interim championship bout with Romero for UFC 212, but that idea never gained traction.
Regardless of who's next for Romero, it doesn't look like it will be long before the UFC has two middleweight titleholders on the roster.
