The ball is in Michael Bisping's court now.

Georges St-Pierre reaffirmed his plans to come back from a three-and-a-half-year hiatus and fight Bisping in late 2017, posting a video Friday on Twitter directed at the UFC middleweight champion.

"Mr. Bisping, I cleared my entire schedule to get ready for training camp after the summer," said St-Pierre. "So I can fight you any time after October. You pick the date. Let's get it on."

UFC president Dana White was angling to have Bisping-GSP headline UFC 213 on July 8 to cap off International Fight Week, but from the moment St-Pierre announced his return to the UFC, the star said he didn't expect to be ready for competition in the first half of 2017.

Bisping, in turn, has threatened to give a title shot to Yoel Romero instead, though he has yet to commit to any of the middleweight challengers who have been lining up to fight him since he won the championship last June.

The UFC currently only has one event scheduled to take place after October - UFC 220 on Dec. 30 - but it's possible the promotion will attempt to line up a blockbuster return to Madison Square Garden in November with Bisping and St-Pierre leading the way.

St-Pierre recently teased the notion himself with a selfie taken at The World's Most Famous Arena:
