Watch: Alabama softball player fails to touch plate after HR, gets tagged out

In the third inning of an SEC softball game between Alabama and Ole Miss on Monday, Crimson Tide player Bailey Hemphill crushed what she thought was a game-tying home run.

There was just one problem: While celebrating with her teammates, Hemphill jumped over home plate and failed to touch it.

As a result, she was tagged out and Ole Miss went on to win 5-4.
