3 players to watch this weekend at the St. Jude Classic

Chez Reavie, Charl Schwartzel, and Sebastian Munoz share the 36-hole lead at the St. Jude Classic at 9-under par, but it's only the halfway point.

Here's three players the trio will need to keep its eye on over the weekend in Memphis.

Matt Every (-6)

It's been a long time since Every has been in contention on the PGA Tour, but he does have a pair of career wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The Daytona Beach native recovered a brutal start to his Friday round, making five birdies, and a bogey over his final 12 holes, to card a second-round 70. Every is fourth in strokes gained putting and T-6 in total strokes gained this week in Memphis.

Adam Scott (-5)

When Scott puts his great ball-striking together with better-than-average putting, he's tough to beat. The 2013 Masters champion displayed that on Friday with a 6-under-par 65, moving into a tie for 11th. Scott leads the field in strokes gained tee-to-green and sits T-12 in GIR after 36 holes.

Brooks Koepka (-5)

Koepka has been full of confidence since the WGC-Match Play and said after his second-round 66 that he "could've shot 60" on Friday. The 27-year-old is sixth in driving distance, fourth in strokes gained off the tee, and T-11 in total strokes gained at TPC Southwind.
