Bisping's and GSP's best quotes from UFC 217 presser

Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre's sophomore press conference for UFC 217 easily one-upped their first.

They were two of six fighters who took the stage in Las Vegas on Friday ahead of the November card at Madison Square Garden, and to the surprise of no one, Bisping flexed his acid tongue at St-Pierre's expense from start to finish. Here are a handful of barbs the UFC middleweight champion threw his foe's way before their Nov. 4 meeting.

On St-Pierre purportedly donning the same suit he wore at their first presser:

C'mon Georges, you've got some money, man. What the fuck, buy a new suit. You look like a history teacher.

On boxing trainer Freddie Roach, who'll corner GSP on Nov. 4:

He's got Freddie Roach down there. Freddie Roach is a great boxing coach, but he doesn't know fuck all about MMA. He couldn't even spell UFC, let alone MMA.

On whether he doubted the on-again, off-again fight would ever materialize:

No, because this pussy only wants to fight me. He doesn't want to fight anyone else because he thinks he can take me down and control me on the floor. He's training with Freddie Roach. I hope to God you try to turn him into a boxer.

Interrupting GSP's response to whether a superfight with Anderson Silva was ever on the table:

He didn't want to fight because Johny Hendricks hit him in the head so many times, he thought he'd been abducted by aliens. I'm surprised you're not wearing a tin-foil hat today to stop the fucking messages (from) coming. Dude, I'm gonna hit you so many times, you're gonna think you disappeared on the mother ship.

Slamming GSP for saying he'd walk away from the sport again if he loses:

Any children here, please listen. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. The saying is not 'if at first I don't succeed, I'm gonna run off and cry like a little bitch.' That's not the expression, Georges. That's why I'm sitting here with this (belt) and you're not.

A pointed message to his many detractors:

You're all gonna fucking miss me when I'm gone, believe you me. It ain't gonna last forever.

Responding to St-Pierre claiming Bisping has "a lot of holes" that he's trying to fill:

Hey Georges, if you wanna go out filling holes, that's up to you, pal. I'm happy.

On what he thinks are the two most important aspects of fighting (a question intended for St-Pierre):

Heart and the mind are the most important things, and I beat Georges on both of them.

While Bisping did his damnedest to get under his skin and keep him from getting a word in edgewise, St-Pierre managed to drop a few zingers of his own (quotes courtesy of MMA Fighting's Marc Raimondi).

On whether he thinks Bisping is one of the greatest to ever do it:

Yes, he is. But he’s got a loss Nov. 4. This I can guarantee you. He’s not gonna beat me. There’s nothing more sure. Water is wet, fire burns and I'm gonna beat Michael Bisping.

When Bisping asks him how he expects to beat him:

I’m gonna do whatever I want to do. I’m gonna strike you, I’m gonna put you down, I'm gonna submit you, I’m gonna re-strike you if you stand back up, I'm gonna do whatever I want - whatever I want when I want to do it. That's what I'm gonna do.

On Bisping's pre-fight trash talk and tactics:

He’s a very angry man. He takes everything as insult, he takes everything personal. If you would have asked Michael Bisping 10 years ago, ‘What would make you happy?’, he would probably say, ‘Be world champion.’ Now that he's world champion he's not happy anymore. I think he has a lot of holes that he can't fill in himself. That's a problem.
