Jordan Bell went full Draymond Green on Kansas

Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

He wears No. 1 instead of 23, and rocks the green of Oregon instead of the blue of the Golden State Warriors, but otherwise Jordan Bell looked a lot like Draymond Green on Saturday night against Kansas.

The 6-foot-9 junior turned in an astounding all-around performance in the Ducks' Elite Eight victory, posting numbers we've become accustomed to seeing only in the NBA from the Warriors star.

Bell finished the game only two blocks shy of a triple-double, and totally disrupted Kansas' offense at the rim.

Here are the gaudy numbers from his incredible stat line:

Stat Bell vs. Kansas
Points 11
FG made-attempted 5-6
Rebounds 13
Blocks 8
Assists 4

Block City

Oregon lost shot-blocking machine Chris Boucher to a torn ACL in the Pac-12 tournament, but Bell has responded with insane play on the defensive end. Whether it be in man-to-man post defense against the opposing team's big man ...

... or with a highlight-reel chasedown block to completely shift momentum in the contest ...

... Bell showed throughout the night that he's an absolute force to be reckoned with on the defensive end.

Strong finisher

The Warriors are loaded with offensive weapons around the perimeter in the form of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant. As a result, Green almost never has an offensive play called for him by the team. Bell operates in the same mode, surrounded by shooters like Dillon Brooks and Tyler Dorsey. The Long Beach native has become an expert at finding ways to score out of nothing, and showed that off in violent fashion against the Jayhawks. Following a brilliant spin move by Payton Pritchard, Bell crashed the lane to the hoop, taking the feed from the freshman and throwing down a monster dunk.

Not satisfied with just one highlight, Bell then sprinted back down the court for a ridiculous chasedown block on the Kansas fast break.

Crashing the glass

In an effort to erase a double-digit deficit in the second half, Kansas went to a small lineup to hit 3-pointers. While that's a sound offensive strategy, it left the Jayhawks exposed at the defensive end, and Bell took full advantage. With 6-foot-2 guard Devonte' Graham blocking him out, he played some volleyball by tapping the ball to himself before inducing a goaltending call on Josh Jackson.

Bell's 13 total rebounds, including a whopping seven on the offensive end, represent his sixth straight game in double figures on the glass.
