Rashard Fant will return to Indiana for senior season

Rashard Fant will spend one more year in Indiana's secondary.

The junior defensive back made it known to Hoosiers fans Thursday that he'll be back for his senior season in 2017, instead of heading to the NFL draft early.

Fant will be staying at Indiana as a graduate student in order to complete his final year of eligibility.

The redshirt junior finished 2016 with 33 tackles and three interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown on opening weekend against Florida International.
