Bills' Bush sets negative rushing yardage record
This is not exactly a record Buffalo Bills running back Reggie Bush will be proud to hold.
After failing to gain a single yard on the ground during Sunday's 30-10 loss to the New York Jets, Bush finished the 2016 season with negative-3 yards on 12 carries, becoming the first non-quarterback with 10-plus carries to finish a campaign with negative yards since 1970.
"It's tough," Bush said Wednesday. "I just didn't have a lot of opportunities this year. And so I'm not worried about that, finishing with negative yards or anything like that. If I had more opportunities, it would be a different story. But I didn't have that."
Despite having negative yardage on the ground, Bush did score a rushing touchdown, as well as catching seven passes for 90 yards.
