Georgia's Smart: Juwuan Briscoe, two others looking to transfer
Georgia coach Kirby Smart held his first post-practice press conference Thursday and made a couple of major announcements in regards to his team heading into their Liberty Bowl matchup against TCU.
Three players, Juwuan Briscoe, Rico McGraw, and Shaquery Wilson, are looking to transfer out of the program, Smart told Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald.
Briscoe, a defensive back, started the first four games of the season before losing the job to Deandre Baker. McGraw, also a defensive back, was selected to be the starter heading into the season, but lost the position two days before the opening game. Wilson didn't play this year.
Smart also announced that Rashad Roundtree is back with the defensive back unit after changing to linebacker this year.
