Barzagli suffered dislocated shoulder in Chievo victory
Juventus added yet another player to the infirmary, as Andrea Barzagli required a stretcher in the opening minutes of Sunday's contest at Chievo Verona.
The club confirmed that the veteran defender dislocated his left shoulder, and was put in a protective brace upon arriving at a local hospital. No timetable for his return has been provided as of yet.
Barzagli suffer the injury in a collision with Chievo's Dario Dainelli, and after laying on the pitch, the 35-year-old was carried off. He was replaced by Leonardo Bonucci, who himself was dealing with a niggling muscle issue heading into the contest.
Supporters at the Stadio Bentegodi applauded the Italy international, who will now miss the Azzurri's upcoming international fixtures against Liechtenstein and Germany.
Giorgio Chiellini, Paulo Dybala, and Marko Pjaca are already out with their own ailments.
