Redskins' Josh Doctson: Active in Week 3
Doctson (Achilles) is listed as active Sunday against the Giants in New York.
Analysis:
The Redskins have operated with caution as it pertains to Doctson's health this season. While a sound decision, his Achilles was only able to handle a small boost in snaps between Week 1 (21 percent of the offensive snaps) and Week 2 (28 percent), so a similar increase is a plausible outcome Sunday. In a receiving corps composed of wideouts DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, and Jamison Crowder; tight ends Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis; and running back Chris Thompson, Doctson will likely find difficulty drawing attention from quarterback Kirk Cousins until his Achilles concern is a thing of the past.
