Redskins' Jamison Crowder: Six grabs in Monday's loss
Crowder caught six passes (on 10 targets) for 58 yards in Monday night's season-opening loss to the Steelers.
Analysis:
Crowder also committed a fumble Monday but was saved by teammate Pierre Garcon recovering his mistake. Besides that play, Washington's second-year slot man fared alright for himself, as his six catches and 10 targets trailed only teammate Jordan Reed in both categories. In fact, Monday marked just the second time in Crowder's short career that he's received double-digit looks from his quarterback. That bodes well for Crowder's involvement looking ahead to Sunday's Week 2 matchup against the Cowboys.
