Tabor's mom: Son had 'no choice' but to fight back vs. teammate
Florida's Teez Tabor was simply defending himself during the scuffle with teammate C'yontai Lewis that led to both players being suspended, according to Tabor's mother.
Hours after the suspensions were announced, Tabor's mom explained her son's side of the story via Twitter:
My son was involved in a altercation with another teammate, in which, he had NO CHOICE but to defend himself.

The All-SEC cornerback also addressed the incident, tweeting he was baffled by the suspension but would accept the punishment. Tabor was reportedly involved in a fight with Lewis, a tight end, that carried over after Tuesday's practice.
For his part, though, Tabor seemed to be over the ordeal by Thursday morning:

Tabor and Lewis will both sit out Florida's season opener versus UMass.
