Report: Lasorda hospitalized after fall in Atlantic City

Former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda needed 12 stitches on his head after suffering a fall last Saturday in Atlantic City, according to ESPN's Buster Olney.
Lasorda, who was inducted into Cooperstown in 1997, reportedly recovered enough to attend the Dodgers' game against the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday.
He managed the Dodgers for 21 seasons, winning two World Series titles in 1981 and 1988, and ranks 20th all time in wins for a manager.
As a player, he pitched in 26 games between the Brooklyn Dodgers and Kansas City Athletics from 1954 to 1956, struggling to the tune of a 6.48 ERA in 58 1/3 innings.
