The Oakland Raiders announced Friday they've waived defensive end Damontre Moore and cornerback SaQwan Edwards.
Moore, a former New York Giants third-round pick, was signed in May.
The moves were to make room for defensive back Tramain Jacobs and linebacker Lenny Jones, who were claimed off waivers from the Giants and San Francisco 49ers, respectively.
Moore has had a disappointing three-year career after being named a consensus All-American in 2012 with just 9 1/2 career sacks. He was waived by the Giants in December and claimed by the Miami Dolphins, who released the 23-year-old in May.
