Arizona's Keenan Walker arrested for assault, disorderly conduct outside nightclub
Arizona offensive lineman Keenan Walker was arrested on suspicion of assault, according to the Arizona Daily Star.
Walker was reportedly stopped along with one other man from entering the Dakota Bar in Scottsdale, Ariz., in the early morning of July 10. When refused entry, the two men "assaulted the security staff and created a disturbance at the entrance to the club," according to a report filed by Scottsdale police reported by azcentral.com
The two men were arrested on charges of assault and disorderly conduct before being released. Walker, along with the other man, is underage.
The 6-foot-5, 283-pound freshman was recruited by Arizona State, Michigan, Ohio State, and Texas A&M before committing to Arizona. A team spokesman stated Tuesday that the university is aware of the incident, and that any punishment to follow will be handled internally.
