Young runner helps friend cross finish line at Special Olympics race

The special friendship between two 14-year-olds was on display during a Special Olympics event at North Rose-Wolcott High School in New York.

Max has Fragile X Syndrome, a genetic condition that affects his intellect, and Marvin is on the Autism spectrum, according to ​Matt Molloy of Rochester's WHAM. After Marvin fell behind in one of the races, Max grabbed his hand and ran alongside him to the finish line.
