Here are theScore's outfielder value rankings for Monday, April 18:

Value Rankings
C | 1B/DH | 2B | SS | 3B | OF | SP

Top Options

Name Opponent Value
Jose Bautista (TOR) at BOS 9
Carlos Gonzalez (COL) at CIN 8
Michael Conforto (NYM) at PHI 8
Dexter Fowler (CHC) at STL 8
Hunter Pence (SF) vs. ARI 8

Bautista hit his third home run of the season on Sunday. He's a dangerous hitter at all times. Get him in your lineups. Conforto is a great bargain because he's still kind of under the radar. His peripherals are solid, he doesn't strike out a ton, and he has hits in three straight. The power will come.

Gonzalez is always risky away from Coors Field, but facing Reds RHP Dan Straily in Great American Ballpark is too good a matchup to ignore. Pence is a historically solid hitter against both righties and lefties. He's a great cash game filler option because of this consistency.

Mid-Tier Targets

Name Opponent Value
Mike Trout (LAA) at CWS 7
Yoenis Cespedes (NYM) at PHI 7
Christian Yelich (MIA) vs. WAS 7
Ryan Braun (MIL) at MIN 7
Michael Saunders (TOR) at BOS 7
Mookie Betts (BOS) vs. TOR 7
Giancarlo Stanton (MIA) vs. WAS 7

Trout has been scuffling, but if he connects on one of White Sox RHP Carlos Rodon's fastballs, it might land on Mars. Betts and Stanton have the potential for big games but have been hit-and-miss and feature lofty salaries. Saunders hit lead-off on Sunday. If this becomes the norm, his value should jump up considerably. Pick him up as a cheap flier.

Name Opponent Value
Bryce Harper (WAS) at MIA 6
Jay Bruce (CIN) vs. COL 6
Denard Span (SF) vs. ARI 6
Stephen Piscotty (STL) vs. CHC 6
Gerardo Parra (COL) at CIN 6
Randal Grichuk (STL) vs. CHC 6
Domingo Santana (MIL) at MIN 6

Harper is the only Nationals bat worth remote consideration against Marlins RHP Jose Fernandez. The risk is real, but if anyone in Washington's lineup can turn on a Fernandez fastball, it's Harper. Grichuk is looking a lot better at the plate. He doesn't have a hit in his last nine at-bats, but he did have hits in four straight games prior to the dip.

Name Opponent Value
Miguel Sano (MIN) vs. MIL 5
Jason Heyward (CHC) at STL 5
Matt Holliday (STL) vs. CHC 5
Kole Calhoun (LAA) at CWS 5
Adam Eaton (CWS) vs. LAA 5
David Peralta (ARI) at SF 5
Odubel Herrera (PHI) vs. NYM 5
Oswaldo Arcia (MIN) vs. MIL 5

Sano and Heyward are not hitting yet. DFS owners are paying for potential - high risk for high reward. Holliday got most of Sunday off and should be in the lineup on Monday. At his age, especially after an injury-filled 2015, his production seems like it will be spotty at best. He's a boom-or-bust candidate.

Nothing to See Here

Name Opponent Value
Curtis Granderson (NYM) at PHI 4
Kevin Pillar (TOR) at BOS 3
Melky Cabrera (CWS) vs. LAA 3
Jeremy Hazelbaker (STL) vs. CHC 3
Marcell Ozuna (MIA) vs. WAS 3
Billy Hamilton (CIN) vs. COL 2
Austin Jackson (CWS) vs. LAA 2

Pillar dropping out of the lead-off spot kills his DFS value. Hazelbaker is about to find his way back to his utility spot, which is where he projected to be. His production will not live up to his early numbers. Hamilton can't be trusted, even in what should be a favorable matchup.
