The Quinnipiac Bobcats entered the second period of Sunday's game against UMass-Lowell down 1-0, but after Landon Smith tied the game, their leading scorer came through when they needed him most.
Sam Anas, who assisted Smith's goal, gave the Bobcats a lead with an incredible play, making River Hawks goalie Kevin Boyle look silly as he dangled and roofed the puck past him with a backhand.
The junior forward has been dealing with an undisclosed injury since the ECAC Championship one week ago, but the forward has looked excellent with three points in the tournament so far.
