The NCAA selected Massachusetts forward Bobby Trivigno as the Most Outstanding Player at the 2020-21 Frozen Four tournament.

Trivigno provided the dagger in the national championship game Saturday night, scoring six minutes into the third period to give the Minutemen a 5-0 lead over St. Cloud State.

The 22-year-old junior forward notched a pair of assists in UMass' upset win over Minnesota Duluth on Thursday, and he collected a helper in a first-round victory over Lake Superior State.

Trivigno was also included among the NCAA's tournament All-Stars. He was joined by fellow forwards Nathan Smith of Minnesota State-Mankato and Nolan Walker of St. Cloud State, as well as three of his teammates: Zac Jones and Matthew Kessel on defense, and goaltender Filip Lindberg.

The Minutemen won their first-ever NCAA men's hockey title Saturday.
