The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs will play for their second NCAA Division I men's national title after defeating Ohio State in Thursday's Frozen Four semifinal.

The Bulldogs took an early 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Louie Roehl and Jared Thomas within the opening five minutes, while Hunter Shepard made 19 saves for the win.

Sean Romeo kept the Buckeyes in the game with 26 saves of his own, and Tanner Laczynski made things interesting with a third-period tally to cut the lead in half.

Minnesota Duluth will return to the final after losing to Denver a year ago. The Bulldogs' lone national championship win came back in 2011.

They will face the winner of Thursday's late game between Michigan and Notre Dame.
