Lukosevicius' hat trick earns him Frozen Four Most Outstanding Player honors

After netting a hat trick in Saturday's Frozen Four national championship, Denver forward Jarid Lukosevicius was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.

Lukosevicius recorded two goals in 16 seconds in the second period versus Minnesota-Duluth, then completed the hat trick later in the frame. His final goal stood as the game-winner, as Denver captured its eighth national championship.

The sophomore also scored two goals in Denver's quarter-final win over Penn State, and was named to the Frozen Four All-Tournament Team along with teammates Tanner Jaillet, Will Butcher, and Troy Terry.
