Iowa has confirmed that defensive lineman Brant Gressel was cited for public intoxication on Saturday.
The school is still gathering information, and it's possible Gressel will face discipline over the alleged incident.
"Gressel is subject to established university protocol in regards to the UI student life code of conduct and team rules and regulations set for members of the football program," reads Iowa's press release, according to College Football Talk.
The sophomore didn't play in any games last season for the Hawkeyes.
