Syracuse head coach Dino Babers has dismissed defensive ends Amir Ealey and Qaadir Sheppard for a violation of team policy, a school athletics spokesman told Syracuse.com's Nate Mink.
The move comes roughly two months after the duo was suspended indefinitely for failed drug tests.
Sheppard appeared in nine games last season as a freshman, notching one tackle and one interception. Ealey appeared in seven games, also as a freshman.
