North Carolina will be without an offensive leader as it heads into spring football practice.
The Tar Heels announced Friday that quarterback Marquise Williams will be unavailable for spring camp, which opens on Sunday, due to a hip injury.
The team said the junior will be good to go for training camp in August.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder threw for 3,068 yards with 21 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 2014.
