Airzona is adding another running back.
The Wildcats, who secured a commitment from former Illinois running back Dami Ayoola on Monday, attracted former UNLV and Northwestern running back Adonis Smith on Tuesday to form what is becoming a crowded backfield.
"I just felt the offense is a great offense," Smith told the Arizona Daily Star. "I think Coach Rodriguez is a great coach. I've been watching him for years. It all just felt like a great fit."
Arizona already has three freshmen at running back: Nick Wilson, Zach Green and Pierre Cormier.
Smith began his college career with Northwestern in 2010. He transferred to UNLV in 2012 and played his junior season in 2013, recording 70 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries.
