Star Michigan wideout Ronnie Bell will be out for the rest of the season with a knee injury he suffered on Saturday, head coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed, according to Austin Meek of The Athletic.

"Fortunately, everything is surgically repairable," Harbaugh said.

The senior receiver was carted off the field after injuring his knee while fielding a punt in a 47-14 victory over Western Michigan.

He hauled in a 76-yard touchdown prior to the injury.

Bell, Michigan's leading receiver the past two seasons, was also selected as a team captain.
